Recently I was looking for a map of Reno, NV. I saw that there were several maps for the city, but none of them seemed to have the specifics I was looking for – no detail on public transportation, no information on nearby attractions. For this reason, I created this map myself using software.

Reno is a city in Northern Nevada. It’s located about 80 miles from Lake Tahoe, and it has been nicknamed the “City of Sparks.” Reno was founded in 1868 and became a municipality in 1909. The city has since grown to have a population of more than 200,000 people and there are plenty of things to do in Reno, including shopping at local boutiques and galleries, dining out at some of the city’s famous restaurants, visiting one of the many museums or zoos, or taking a walk along the Truckee River.

Reno History

Reno, who served in the Mexican-American War and the American Civil War.
